Having issues with Twitter? You are not alone. After a Friday night time tweet through which it acknowledged that “tweets is probably not loading for a few of you,” Twitter Support followed up on Saturday, saying that it is “fixing a difficulty with our servers to get issues again to regular quickly.”
Down Detector showed a big spike in Twitter outages between about 5 and 6 p.m. PT on Friday, with few issues till a few much less excessive bumps on Saturday morning. It is unclear how widespread the outages are, but it surely seems to be like a world problem: Stories of issues have come from the US, Africa, France, Romania, Sri Lanka and elsewhere, with some customers saying they had been logged out of their accounts. Different points have reportedly included photographs not showing and searches not working. It is also unclear what the precise trigger is past the server problem talked about by the social community’s help group.
Twitter had no remark past the tweets from its Help account. We’ll replace this story as extra data is available in.
